Breast Reconstruction Latissimus

This 49-year-old female from Poway, CA was recently diagnosed with right breast cancer. She wished to have a skin sparing mastectomy and immediate reconstruction of the right breast without an implant. She did not want any surgery to the left breast and wanted her right breast reconstruction to perfectly match her current left breast size and shape. Dr. Gupta performed immediate right breast latissimus flap reconstruction and later a second stage nipple reconstruction 3 months later. Note the excellent symmetry. The patient will now proceed with nipple areola tattooing. These pictures were taken before and after the nipple reconstruction surgery.
