Breast Reconstruction TRAM

This 50-year-old female from Del Mar, CA was diagnosed with right breast cancer and chose to proceed with bilateral mastectomy. She wanted bilateral immediate breast reconstruction to a full D cup. Dr. Gupta performed immediate breast reconstruction with bilateral pedicled muscle-sparing TRAM flaps. Note the excellent symmetry. These pictures were taken four months after breast surgery, and include pictures before and after nipple reconstruction and a picture immediately following tattooing. The dark brown color will fade with time.
