Breast Reconstruction TRAM

This 60-year-old female from Oceanside, CA had a large inflammatory cancer of the right breast and required chemotherapy, modified radical mastectomy, and radiation therapy to treat her disease. Dr. Gupta was consulted for breast reconstruction and recommended waiting at least a year to allow proper healing and assurance of disease-free status. He then performed right breast reconstruction with microsurgical free DIEP flap to achieve excellent breast symmetry without any left breast surgery required. These pictures were taken 3 months after nipple reconstruction and tattooing. The patient is very happy with her results.
