Breast Revision

This 50-year-old patient from San Diego, CA underwent bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer 10 years ago and had saline implant breast reconstruction by another plastic surgeon. That surgeon placed 600 cc saline implants and did nipple reconstructions with tattoos. The implants have now bottomed-out with breast shape deformity and the nipples are now too high on the breast. Dr. Gupta was consulted for revision and performed bilateral breast reconstruction revision to correct the droopy shape and replaced the saline implants with silicone ones. The breasts are now much more natural shaped and softer, and the nipples are in a more appropriate location. Dr. Gupta also treated her multiple abnormal keloid scars.
